Led by point guard Deondra Dancy’s 17 points, Class 6A Decatur scored a 72-50 win against Madison Academy on Friday night.
Dancy scored nine straight points in the third quarter to help the Red Raiders — who led by only two at the half — break open a close game against Class 3A’s eighth-ranked team.
The Decatur girls weren’t as fortunate, falling to top-ranked Mad Acad 58-33. That drops the Lady Red Raiders 0-9 on the season.
